Tuscany
Tuscany is a region of Italy, with a strong identity and history, complex for its variety of environment, geological background, historic towns, colours, islands, white sand beaches ,altitudes and traditions; Some of the oldest Etruscan sites,the crystal seawater coast lines, the Natural parks , the excellent wines areas,make Tuscany unique every season of the year. Even if it is well known for its towns, forests cover the Tuscany surface for 50% of its territories; together with most known areas, there are many unspoilt territories to be discovered.

Musical Tours: Tuscany in summertime is rich of musical festivals & events; The old village and castle of Querceto, for instance, hidden in val di Cecina forests, organizes every July a classical music festival a month long. What better occasion could be after a relaxing walk ending listen some classic music in a medieval castle with a breathtaking view?
The Puccini Festival, few Opera concerts and events held in Torre Del Lago Puccini between Pisa and Lucca towns, the Massaciuccoli and S.Rossore National parks for those of you who enjoy open air opera.Teatro del Silenzio, Andrea Bocelli open air theatre walk: Lajatico(Pisa) lovely walk, in the Alta Val d'Era countryside, still unspoil area of Tuscany, the open air theatre stands up in the middle of the gentle rolling hills and in front of Volterra town, one of the most powerful Etruscan, the Roman and Medieval towns in central Italy.
Because I’m one of the Tuscan Archipelago National Park Guide, it’s possible to organize excursions by boat in the different islands of the Archipelago; visiting especially Elba ,Giglio, Giannutri and Capraia Island it’s something so special and off the main tracks, not only nature, but history, geology, and local traditions…unplugged.
Festival Pucciniano, Pietrasanta with its marble artists, Versilia coast line and Lucca town. The beautiful classic open air opera festival with the seasideview in front; the fascinating Versilia area, with Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta towns and powerful old town of Lucca, one of the very few in Italy with intact city walls, are waiting at us for great walks on top of it.
